Our college motto is 'Ut Vitam Habeant'. It means 'that they may have life'. We encourage every student to develop as a whole person and to be actively engaged in the college and the community so that they may have life to the full.

Christ the King College

Mr R. McAuliffe, Vice Principal and Head of Centre

The students who attend Christ the King College undertake all of their learning on this site and are part of a prestigious, successful college where everyone is encouraged and supported to achieve their potential.

We have a tradition of excellence and we offer an extensive, comprehensive range of courses. Forty A level subjects, four BTEC National programmes and five BTEC First and Introductory courses mean that our students have a great deal of choice available. Our examination results are consistently outstanding and help to ensure that high numbers of students progress on to university each year, including progression to Oxford, Cambridge and other premier league universities.

Our students receive inspirational teaching and exceptional care and support. They also enjoy specialist facilities, including a purpose-built sports centre, our extensive Learning Resources Centre and dedicated subject-specific accommodation. There are opportunities to take part in a wide range of enrichment activities including music drama, sports, volunteer work, expeditions and fundraising.

We set high standards for our students, both in terms of behaviour and commitment to work. We build and maintain excellent links with parents and guardians and value the partnership between college and home.

Christ The King is an attractive and popular college in which to study and I would like to extend a warm welcome to you.
