Membership of the Governing Body

The Governing Body is made up of:

  • Foundation Members

    The majority of members of the Governing Body are appointed by the Archdiocese. These are active members of the local Catholic community. There are 11 Foundation Members on the Governing Body. They serve for a term of four years and may be re-appointed.

  • Parent Member

    This member is elected by the parents of, or those with parental responsibility for, full-time students of the College. There is one Parent Member. The parents serve as long as they have a student at the College up to a maximum of two years and may be re-appointed if they are eligible.

  • Staff Governors

    Staff Governors are elected by the teaching and support staff of the College. There are two Staff Governors. They serve for a term of two years and may be re-appointed.

    The Student Council nominates two of its members to act as student governors.
