Science and Maths Coaching Programme
21 Year 13 students from all three Christ the King Sites took part in Science and Maths Coaching training. These students will work with Year 12 Biology, Chemistry and Maths students to support them outside of lessons. The Year 13 students are looking forward to developing a deeper understanding of the material they studied last year as they coach and teach the first year students.
Samuel Banson who studies Chemistry, Maths and RS said that ‘this opportunity will allow me to build on my leadership skills’. Sherieka Brown, who studies Biology, Chemistry and Maths, commented that ‘this opportunity may also allow me to develop my communication skills, whilst also strengthening my memory of previous content.’ Chelsea Collins-Longe hopes the experience ‘will be a fun experience, as I will be helping others achieve their full potential’.
