What will I study?
Business is a dynamic and interesting subject. Throughout this two year course, students will enhance their commercial awareness and develop a wide range of business related analytical and entrepreneurial skills. They will investigate different types of organisation, identify investment opportunities and evaluate how markets affect business performance. The subject enables students to understand real world decision making processes and critically evaluate the external and internal influences on businesses.

GCSE English and Mathematics (Grades 9-5).
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by external examination only (Edexcel). Students will be expected to apply numerical skills in a range of business contexts.
Where will A Level Business lead me?
A Level Business is the first step on the route to a variety of further qualifications. The next stage for students may be to progress to Higher Education to study degree courses or Higher National Certificates. A Level Business students are eligible for progression to wide range of professions including Law, Accountancy, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Management, Teaching, Politics or Journalism.
