How to Apply
We are delighted that you are considering making an application to Christ the King. We welcome students of all faiths and of none who would like to pursue their sixth form education in a faith context and who support the ethos of this Catholic College.
The information you provide on the application form is very important, so please take time to ensure that it is accurate. And do check that your application meets the admissions criteria for the course(s) you would like to study. Take care to supply the information we ask for accurately and clearly: your examination results are a very important part of your application.
The page where you write your Supporting Statement is your opportunity to tell us something about yourself. We want to learn about you as an individual: your ambitions, the subjects you love, what makes you tick. And don't forget to tell us about activities or projects you have undertaken in school or outside that weren't part of your school work. Perhaps you have undertaken a community project, organised a sports club or are a member of a dance or music group.
We will also need a reference from your school. But please note that your application is confidential; we will not approach your school for a reference without permission from you.
If you are invited for interview, you will be able to discuss the courses you hope to study and tell us more about yourself. You will also be able to ask us any questions you have.
If your application is successful, you will need to enrol formally at College. This takes place in August 2016: we will notify you of arrangements nearer the time.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about your application, do email us at email@example.com or phone us on 020 8297 9433.
The College reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw programmes. Offers of places on all courses are made subject to availability.
Overseas qualifications must be of equivalent value to UK examinations. A fee will be charged to overseas students where appropriate – further details can be obtained from the Admissions Office.
Where the College is oversubscribed the priorities for admissions are:
- Students from the following Partner Schools who submit their application by the given deadline: Bonus Pastor Catholic College, Conisborough College, St Catherine’s Catholic School, St Columba’s Catholic Boys’ School, St Matthew Academy, St Michael’s Catholic College, St Paul’s Academy, St Thomas More Catholic Comprehensive School, Trinity CE School and St Ursula’s Convent School.
- Other Catholic students who submit their application by the given deadline.
- Other students who wish to pursue their sixth form education in a faith context and who support the ethos of the College and who submit their application by the given deadline.
